@ChazeGames well still it's to much drag at that speed I would swoop the wings so the plane can ride on the sonic booms at those hypersonic speeds thus adding to the fuel efficiency and stability in flight

3.4 years ago@ddweck32 the reason your winglets/tips break off are because at the end of the wing the air makes a spiral causeing drag the winglets prevent this from happening so all the drag it's trying to prevent at that speed will cause them to rip off
3.4 years agoFrom my experience building the plane, it becomes unstable around 12-1300mph, and that was low to the ground where I'm assuming the air is thicker in the sim. The challenge building it to win the tournament was creating enough drag (via inlets) to keep it slow enough to not rip itself apart while being fast enough to finish around the 1 minute mark.
I don't know enough about aerodynamics and physics to reason why the wing tips will tear the wings off so if you or anyone has any insight let me me know@aloushi605
