Auto Credit Based on Gavib's Chitty chitty bang bang flight prototype 1
After tem hours of building I present the functional chitty chitty bang bang! For flight activate groups 4&5 then vtol down and for flight mode engine activate group 3. For driving activate group 7 and use a resonably low throttle because this baby is fast!. To fly drive off a cliff at full speed and erect wings either after you left the edge and pull up hard, or erect wings earlier and fly over a cliff. (Use group 3 before taking off to get airspeed. Please enjoy this as it took me extremely long to make and still isnt perfected.

@Ravenblack thanks, that is one of the main problems with this design.
@Gavib I had have similar take off problems with the Hotrod. I sorted that problem out with the truck by introducing undercarriage at the front. It lifted the front up, so once up to speed in flight mode, the tail would then lift up and have room to pull the stick back and fly.
You might be able to fit a small piston (or two) near the front, hidden away, with small wheels on. Once lowered the car nose will lift, ready for your take off run.
@Gavib It doesn't change how great your car... plane... car.... is though! I love it. I was always a fan of CCBB (even sat in the original!).

I too was inspired sometime ago by other older Simpleplane hybrid builds people had made to make Trucking Hell, and have since made a flying hotrod too.
