1 to lower arresting hook, 3 for nav lights, 5 for brake parachute, VTOL for flaps, and trim for, well, trim. This one right here is for my good friend cobfox, and he was the first to land this thing on a carrier. This is a b*tch to land, so listen carefully: approach speed between 250 and 300 mph, land with the nose facing up. Use the brake parachute immediately after touchdown. Here’s a little secret: just before touchdown use slow motion. It’s easier on the landing gear. The gear, however is extremely tough and can take a beating. Enjoy this hot rod of a plane! NYYYOOOOM

@Subnerdica I’ve noticed that too. If you go into slow motion just before you hit the ground, and if you land wheels first, you can survive huge drops with almost any vehicle.
