33.9k BoxGlow  8.0 years ago

== Activation Group 1
+ Pitch - Accelerate and Decelerate/Reverse
+ Yaw - To steer the truck
+ VTOL Down - Deploy outriggers

== Activation Group 2
+ VTOL - Move the boom arm up and down
+ Trim - To move the dipper arm up and down
+ Throttle - Move the bucket up (load)
+ Brakes - Move the bucket down (unload)

== Activation Group 3
+ VTOL - Rotate the machine 180°

== Activation Group 4
+ Activate Off-road engines

+ Enjoy the cockpit view
***************************************************************
[WARNING!] the boom arm (act.2 VTOL) is designed to over-extend when you put the VTOL slider all the way up.. this is done so the excavator could theoretically "dig" on soil like a real life excavator

[WARNING!] because of its size and configuration. this machine easily topples over when going too fast on bumpy roads. let go of the accelerate button when you are jumping or expecting the machine to jump at the next bump you encounter.. I recommend that you maintain 30-60 mph when off-road

Use activation groups one at a time.

The main engines can only get you up to 80mph and 15° uphill

The off-road engines can get you up to 160mph and 30° uphill. beyond this the truck cannot accelerate anymore.
*****************************************************************
Who own the steering wheel? this has been on my sub-assembly list but I could not remember where I got this from. If you own this steering wheel please leave a message so I could give you a proper credit.

How can I forget... Thanks @TheLatentImage for the pine tree!

    Ok, So it turns out that the excavator is actually too wide to fit onto the base of what I was planning I've built, and I can't really rebuild it because then the proportions to another part of the build would be weird and so on, so I'm afraid I won't be able to use it. I'll probably just make a build myself so that it definitely fits. Sorry!!! : (

    I will have to remove some parts though so that it's not so laggy for mobile users.

    @Droidspenser in fact they do! when building mountain roads, engineers use dynamite to destroy part of the mountainside so they could convert that place to a nice and flat surface to lay the road's foundation. I've seen this happen in my hometown. the landslide (just a small, controlled, safe one) it caused is a sight to behold.

    @UnivalentHen sorry, signing up for beta testing has ended several days ago.. You will have to wait for the official update..
    .
    In the meantime, click that little star thingy up beside the name of the truck.. Doing so will mark it as one of your "favourites". Do this to any designs you want to download but cant because you dont have the proper game version.. This is so you can easily get back to them when the official update is out.

    .
    If you are not a beta tester then you can wait until the official update which wil come out sometime in may.
