Parallel was originally designed by Jaysia's Jay Jet Aerospace Company, as a cheaper alternative to their Jacker fighter aircraft. Pastovokia eventually provided assistance on the programme, leading to the introduction of Parallel II. The design puts much emphasis on the need to carry an aerial rail gun, which would be placed between the engines.
