Lockheed P-3 Orion

105k Hedero  4.3 years ago

The Lockheed P-3 Orion is a four-engine turboprop anti-submarine and maritime surveillance aircraft developed for the United States Navy and introduced in the 1960s. Lockheed based it on the L-188 Electra commercial airliner. I love the way this plane looks and sounds! Something about it is just awesome. It also picks up some impressive speed, going 473 mph! Or 411 knots. I added flares on the bottom as either flares for a real P-3 Orion or those little bomb things they drop over the ocean to detect subs. Idk. it has good climb rate but not-so-impressive speed in the game. like 250 mph+ or something like that. 1=Nav lights VTOL=Flaps G=LandingGear. Enjoy!

I hope the suspension and the front landing gear is fixed

@Hedero well when I spawn on ground, the tires bend slightly then when I accelerate the plane, the rear landing gears shake (as it had a seizure) causing it to turn left then crash in that small hill beside the runway (on yeager airport)

The suspension on the rear landing gear is too wonky and the front doesn't turn @Hetero

What in infamous airplane.....at least in my story of aviation. On CobraHuey's P-3C, I could not remember if it was P-3C or P3-C. It was soooo annoying lol. @Hedero

Idk. It tells me the same thing but if you log into your account you should be able to download it. It tells me the same message every time I try to download something over a few hundred parts, but it the game runs fine anyway.@KnightOfRen

I think SP is lying to me. When I try to download your builds (Which I have been doing a lot) It says "This airplane is huge and may not run well on your device". They are not that much bigger than mine. Why does it tell me that? @Hedero

Yeah particularly older ones though. Rigging wires wouldn't be very common on modern aircraft.@KnightOfRen

Ya know I'm not quite sure. I suspect it has something to do with radio transmition but I'm not 100% certain.@KnightOfRen

Sorry to chime in but, are you two talking about the black strips on the nose cone? If so those are for wicking static electricity away from the nose RAYDOME. Underneath that nose cone is a 270 degree rotating radar. Similar to the one in the picture that I have linked below. Nose Radar

Yea Idk. I tried to search it but nothing comes up. The only thing I can assume is probably De-icer strips that squirt de-icing fluid. However, I am meerely guessing .@MegaFox
