In 1939, Douglas Aircraft Company offered a small, lightweight, high altitude fighter to the Army-their Model 312. It was powered by a Vee Ranger SGV-770 engine with a two stage supercharger, turning a large nine-and-a-half foot three bladed propeller. Its armament was one .30cal and one 50.cal machine gun. Stalls 26mph takesoff at 50mph.

    I found it to take off at 150+ mph and then immediately go into a death spin (This is not hate. See it as help.)
