Development
The HF-85s development started at the start of 1938 with the requirements of taking off on unpaved runways, a minimum takeoff length of 800 meters fully loaded, capable of carrying 3000lbs of bombs, 1500 miles max range, 330mph top speed, high survivability, and having significant firepower.
