If for some reason you want to know the composition of steel, go here
@BOSSentinel I have already transferred APFSDS-T to experimental shells
@BOSSentinel Well, I don't argue
@AugustVonMartis
In principle*
@BOSSentinel As for the APFSDS-T, I have no idea. I asked another person and he said that in principle it is possible to add it.
@GeneralCorpInc yeah, it was a non autoloaded, non combat situation
@BOSSentinel guess it was not efficient at all then
@GeneralCorpInc technically, there was a test in the US using a 155 mm cannon to use APFSDS, but twas’ a test
@AugustVonMartis also, the MBT-70 is ~40 tons in combat.
@AugustVonMartis when did I say the MBT-70 had a 2300 horsepower engine
What kind of APFSDS shell can be used for a 155mm while it is a recent shell in the rp, and it doesn't exists a real one today?
@AugustVonMartis yeah lol, I'm also already decently used to talking to people in Europe and adjusting time-based language for them
I'll go make myself some tea.
@SchmooveBrain For example, me
@AugustVonMartis I still prefer to specify that its in someone elses time zone cause not everyone is from the Americas
@SchmooveBrain Well, I already understood it myself... it’s just morning for me
@AugustVonMartis (im pretty sure hes off for the (his) night so dont expect a respinse for a while)
@BOSSentinel Do you still think that 135mm of armor is a big problem in realism?
And I'm still haunted by this fucking 2300hp engine. I just checked whether the most powerful tank engine in the 21st century is ГТД-1250(1250hp) or GD883 (1500hp) is this miracle from the 1950s AT LEAST 800 hp MORE POWERFUL considering that it is not gas turbine or hybrid
@BOSSentinel Yes, the steel may be good, but it is just a solid piece of steel that can be pierced with any HEAT.
@BOSSentinel And armor this is not some composite with a shitload of materials, but two types of steel and ceramics that, God willing, will survive the rain
