MH-60.M DAP (Direct Action Penetrator) is a heavily armed variant of the UH-60 Black Hawk operated by the U.S. Army’s 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment, designed to provide low-altitude, close-range fire support and assault escort for special operations “direct action” missions. Retaining the Black Hawk’s high mobility and exceptional night-fighting capability, it integrates weapons such as 30 mm cannons, 70 mm rockets, and Hellfire missiles, along with advanced night-vision, communications, and self-defense systems, enabling tight coordination with ground assault teams in complex terrain and nighttime operations for rapid, precise, and intimate strike support.
