The B-6 Kickback is a medium-range heavy multirole aircraft. Being equipped with a powerful SDB-100 missile, it could take down entire formations with a single missile. It was nicknamed “Kickback” due to it looking like something some other guy should have thought of a really long time ago. While generating about 44,000 pounds of thrust, it slowly pushed the aircraft to 10-25 degrees downward (negative) in which for a significant amount of pitch angle it would need to deploy flaps. Therefore it was not mass produced, and didn’t gain popularity until 1.2 years. It claimed records in its service time including for its low fatality rate, as it had to fly through heavy gunfire, however landed safely 8/10 after every bombing run. Outrigger wheels were added on later versions, as this plane constantly flew over the clouds of your average missile.
