Roadhog Flatnose Sprinter 427

Straight from the golden age of muscle cars

The Roadhog. A Company with big dreams, and short life. Founded in Massachusetts in the late '60s, this small factory made mainly forged engine parts for the bigger automotive hotshots.
Since muscle cars started to gain more popularity, they wished to get a piece from the pie and started to plan the Flatnose in 1967. But unfortunately, the market was already filled with
greater, and greater muscle cars, Roadhog didn't found their place on the US domestic markets, since buyers preferred more the cars came from greater companies like Ford, Chevy, Plymouth,
Mercury, and Pontiac.

So when the first Flatnose Sprinter came out in '71, they decided to aim high and take the car to the Australian markets, where the Flatnose used to knock out the Ironhorse from the lead.
Well, we should not say that it didn't happen. Ironhorse was so dominant on the Australian markets, the Flatnose didn't have any chance. The company went all or nothing on this one, they shipped
half of the produced models down to the land down under, but when the shipment arrived, the company went bankrupt, and the cars never were in the sale. They don't even have the money to change the Flatnoses
to RHD, so all the existing models are built by USA regulations. So from the only 900 models, 447 is still collecting the dust in a warehouse, somewhere in Adelaide. But what happened to the remaining cars?

The remaining cars went under the hammer with the whole factory in 1975. Since then, there's little known about the cars, but a big number of them ended up as law enforcer vehicles. Small town sheriffs liked the Flatnose. The decently fast and reliable 450hp engine, and the good ramming capabilities given by the chassis and frame layout, made the Flatnose a potential highway patrol unit.
The strong arm of the law kept the Flatnoses in their fleet 'till they had no more parts to correctly maintain them, or got wrecked in police chases. But if the engine and the chassis were good, what was wrong?

Well, everything else. The Flatnose was basically designed around the engine, all the other mechanical solutions were knocked off from the AMC Javelin, only the interior design stayed original beside the chassis
and the engine. Ironically, the Flatnose was still reliable than the Javelin, if you can thrust a few retired police officers. If you lucky you can find one on police auctions, but they will not be in great shape.
And what about this blue one? Well, this came from Australia obviously, the guy who binged it in had no clue about this one, said it was in his uncle's barn for years, and he offered to trade it in for an MK2 Ironhorse.

It was in great condition, with only a few miles in the clock, we only needed to replace the mandatory things to make it run again.

@Sm10684 it is hard to convince yourself to build. This was 3 weeks for me, cos i keep losing my patience while building. I had a long time when i didn't built anything at all, and yeah i missed the game too...
