“ A hulking, heavily armed and armored combat machine. It moves and strikes with speed and ferocity, while relentlessly deploying its array of powerful weapons.”
THUNDERJAW - Horizon Zero Dawn / Forbidden West
I originally found a thunderjaw model made by another user a number of years ago (not sure how to tag him but if you search “thunderjaw he should pop up) that was just a statue, and while he did a decent job, I had to redesign almost all of it to fix missing or wrong details to make it more accurate to the game. After that I made it walk and shoot
MOVEMENT
The walking definitely isn’t perfect and it’s a bit jerky when starting and stopping but it’s the best I could get it
Steering: Roll
Walking: gradually throttle up to 25%
Running: gradually throttle up to 30 - 35%
Anything throttle above that is for hills
WEAPONS
Rapid Fire Cannons: automatically activate when air-to-air / ground is selected
Laser Sweep: Group 1 (disables rapid fire cannons until deactivated
Disc Launchers: Group 2

Question: Can this be used against a modified Renault Twingo with an anti-ballistic defense system and a Goalkeeper CIWS Phalanx?
THE TIMEEEE has come to an end

Being tracked by a starving beast
Looking for its daily feast
A predator on the verge of death

And they run when the sun comes up!
With their lives on the line...

Usually derivative builds are done through the successor system, and aside from that, crediting original builders are normally done through things like "Special thanks to [@
builder name](builder profile link) for [part name](part post name)" or "Credit: [@builder name](builder profile link) for [part name](part post name)"..
So, using this build as an example, credits should usually be done as
"Credit: @nomadeam for the body construction" or something similar.
@ThomasRoderick
It's done 👌
@Seeras
@DeezDucks
Could you please make this post a successor to this? Thanks!
@ILIKEPLANES01 I know, but i blindly believed that it was made by you, ignoring your explanation about redesigning and fixing someone's build lol.
.
Anyways, all i may say is perhaps.. welcome to the Simpleplanes community i guess😅
wait a second-
ah yeah, you didn't actually created it, you just simply decided to redesign it to fix one of their known issues & missing details to make it more accurate, i see.. but still, you did a good job!
A really well done robot made by seemingly new builder from out of nowhere?!👀
.
You must have practiced a lot in the one year ago and also, good job!👍 :>
