The Toyota 1LR-GUE is a 4.8l (4805 cubic centimeters, 293 cubic inches) naturally aspirated, dual overhead cam, 40 valve, VVTLi, V10 engine with a bank angle of 72 degrees and 10 individual throttle bodies united by a surge tank. It produces 412 Kw of power, at the rear wheels of the Lexus LFA, and 489 Nm of torque, while between 3700 and 9000 RPM. The engine redlines at 9100 RPM, with a safety fuel shutout at 9550 RPM. It is, arguably, the best sounding engine ever devised.
