HISTORY

The Ford Festiva is a four passenger, three-door, front-drive subcompact car manufactured in South Korea by Kia, under license from Mazda and marketed by Ford for model years 1986–2002 over three generations in Japan, the Americas, and Australia as the Festiva and as the Aspire in North America during its second generation.

Engine & Transmission

Originally powered by a 1.1L Mazda B1 inline-4 producing 50–54 hp and mated to a modest stock manual transmission, this particular Festiva has been heavily modified and now sports a turbocharged Honda D16Z6 engine, pushing out around 400 hp. To handle the massive power increase, the original drivetrain has been replaced with a stronger Honda manual transmission. All that power packed into a lightweight 1800 lb chassis makes this humble hatchback a serious sleeper.

ADDITIONAL INFO

Only the engine, transmission, exhaust system, electronics, and suspension(stiffer springs) have been modified, every other aspect of the car is completely stock, and yes that includes the brake, use your foot or something idk.

This car is pretty realistic in many aspect, size, handling and weight, it was originally supposed to be under 2000lb but for some reason the shocks just doesn't work properly so i had to give it a little more weight which made it 4,500lb.

Lastly, this car spins its tires alot since its FWD, theres unintentional turbo lag due to engine physics of simpleplanes and i actually like that. it tops out at 205mph and spins the tires at 50mph to 145mph, just bear with it.

Screenshots

Definitely my most detailed car build although its missing an interior, it can easily be retrofitted with one in the future which im planning on. This car has been fun to build even though it took me a week straight, and it was fun testing it even though i sometimes have to suffer alot of slideshow when driving it. Not a 1:1 replica but i did my best with the body work, the main goal here was to engine stuff.

This was the real life build that gave me the idea and reference

My sincere apologies to mobile users and also to my phone which was basically tortured while building this car.

-Hav fun
