Welcome
Introduction
The MiH-24A was designed to combat the Pahlawan insurgents in Trisan Bulkkain.
During the first Bulkkain war (1949-1953)
When the WzDD discovered a major flaws in there anti insurgent tactics. They soon realized that the defenseless troop carry helicopters were the target of the Pahlawan forces, and although yes they could solve the problem by adding support elements such as attack helicopters, they couldn't support such concentration of forces if, say more Pahlawan forces appeared elsewhere.
Thus the WzDD asked Mikioyn Kalashkon, Tupolovnovsky Heavy Air Co, and Mikhail Gromnskeiv Aircraft
The call was for a medium attack/utility helicopter, which could hold a minimum of 15 soilders and could carry a defensive armament incase of attack.
Out of the three prototypes the MiK-X1 Shredder, TU-H4 Yuri , and finally the MiH-23 protector
Although the yuri provided extra troop carry abilities and the Shredder had more carry capacity
The protector was the only prototype that met all requirements
Thus the MiH-24 was born,
Even though Mikhail removed 5 troop spaces from the prototype, the MiH-24A was still exactly what the WzDD was asking for
With a total of three crew, up to 10 soldiers of capacity and with a 43,000 pounds of carry weight the possibilities were endless.
With Mikhails success with this beast it would go on to fight in a few more wars such as the second Bulkkain war (1960-1974) the Afgankan wars (1973-2001) the Morbid war (1966-1967) the Six days conflict (1967-1967) and the many more.
