Built specifically to be used against Arabia due to its heavy reliance on light armor and motorized regiments, the MiG-K was meant to be a low cost, short range attack plane that can hold its own in aerial combat. In this combined role it served well, and was granted only to high-ranking Soviet pilots due to its “prohibitive” price compared to the dirt cheap MiG-Z. These attack planes were a rare sight on the battlefield, but were dreaded by Alliance pilots and infantry who knew all to well of the Soviet aces’ reputation and heavy armament of this attack plane. Knowing nothing of subtlety, MiG-Ks bring extreme firepower to the table with 4x 7.62x54mm Novikov 39 machine guns, 2x 20mm ZiPAK cannons, and a rocket pod. The MiG-K’s success against Arabia led to its adoption on all socialist fronts against capitalist and fundamentalist tyranny.
