How/ where do I get the modded engines?

I share the same intrigue, though honestly I would guess I haven't got the skills to create one myself; none the less I would be interested in the method, as that could be applied to various other parts of this. My best guess: part clipping; something I don't do Myself, though I know it's use is almost ubiquitous on here.

Thanks, you're right, that's what I have found too. and a lot of the time it can be overcome by attaching the wings to dissabled detachers or pylons that are attached to the body.

@ElijtheGeat evening again sir. the engine I use I distinctly recall being a stand alone upload, as I hadn't taken them off an existing, thst much I am certain of. Yes, I had the exact Same issue myself with planes seemingly self destructing at high speed. The only reason I could put this down to was non structural wings giving up on me. The couple of designs I have uploaded this week are an attempt at overcoming this very issue. The trick it to use any drag facing wings as structural, this solved that one issue. Of course the consequence of this is you loose all ability to turn or pitch given any non structural wing; no matter it's placement will either tear off or cause the plane to explode. Again these couple of planes offer a solution to this issue, using sweapt wings all within or on top of the chassis of the plane. After many tries I found that any non structural wing will come off if put anywhere other than right at the back and not outside of the width of the planes main body. Now I don't assume that I have tried and tested every combination of structural and non structural wings so thus may be just an over generalisation, and there could be a better solution out there, but perhaps a good starting point. thanks dear bloke. Was it an actual plane or just a plane looking engine? I know that zing200 reposted a design, I'm not sure if it was this exact one though, this one is awesome. I'm just having trouble with my planes vibrating and then exploding when they get too fast@hypnotoad

@ElijtheGeat good evening sir. to be totally honest o am unsure of the user that I downloaded this from, and sadly I don't think I can trace it back, as I just saved it as a sub assembly. If it's of use though. I believe I found it this week based on highest rating. so it should turn up when applying those filters when looking through planes. @hypnotoad I also searched in my plane store and I found a kind of a spiky airplane. It's the fighter just before the last that you had rated: the Semedian Fighter 9.

I really want to find who started spreading these engines, I see how it could ruin multiplayer but they are awesome, they look like they have afterburners and everything. Do you mind telling me who you got the engines from and I'll try to trace it back from there.

@hypnotoad I understand. I am just worried about the game. I already watched one game I loved fall apart due to something out of our control, and I cannot stand idly by and let the same happen here. Anyways, no offense is taken, and the plane looks so good that it would normally have gotten a 5star from me. Just remember, though, that even if you don't intend to cause harm, there is a very well-known saying that applies here: "The road to hell is paved with good intentions." Cheers!

@UnstableOrbit Crikey sir, I had no intention of causing offence. nore was it my intention to impact on any multiplayer potential. I offer my apologies, but I am not responsible for the creation or even direct distribution of these engines. I find the design parameters to work with to make planes work at such speeds interesting, nothing more.
