The F-100D existed as a fighter in the Vietnam War, and it proved quite decent, but after more modern fighter/bombers started replacing it, the F-100D sort of lost its place and was retired. Later, though, Sabrehogs revolted and started a massive "war" almost, and the F-100Ds didn't hesitate to chime in.
Now there is only one plane who can stop them...

We don't know for sure, but my guess is literally the most stoop reason possible; because they can. They're literally a near-infinite swarm of hivemind fighter jets with ridiculous(ly good) stats, so why not attempt world domination?
@ChiChiWerx Well, I wanted it to have more practical performance for this model, but I absolutely could make another version later that does use the said airfoil, in similar manner to my planned F-16C remake.
Thirteenth! So, the F-100 (in)famously had a symmetric airfoil which led to this type of behavior: Sabre Dance. Not that SP really replicates that behavior that well, but why use the flat bottom wing?
