Albatross D.III/ Story Part Two!

5,236 SMH  7.6 years ago

If you have'nt read part one its the S.E.5 Black Sparrow on my page. This was the Albatross that Sawyer James shot down in part one. The story continues..... His heart racing, cold sweat flying of his face into the icy air of the Eastern front, Sawyer James squeezes the trigger as his .303 Vickers machine gun pumps bullets into one of the five incoming Fokker D.IIVs, sending it hurtelling toward the ground below. The remaining Fokkers are either shooting at him or evading his bullets. The Black Sparrow rolls over, dives to gather airspeed, pulls out into a climb, and stalls into a controlled dive toward another Fokker, Screaming at the top of his lungs. He releases another burst from his Vickers, but suddenly, he hears a gut-renching sound of tearing fabric, he turns around to see a Fokker, Spandaus alight. finally, to his aid is the rest of his squadron, four SPAD S.IIVs. The air becomes a deadly battleground. But the Fokker remained on Sawyer's tail as he dove, climbed, and preformed almost every maneuver he knew. Thankfully, a dear freind of Sawyer's came from below and blasted the enemy into flames. the remaining two Fokkers fled while Sawyer and his squadron retuned victorious..... THE END...................... for now
