Short History

The Prigozhnyya JS-47A (Pr.AC13-2) was the sister project to the JS-60A (Pr.AC13-1). Development started a year after that of the Sniper, but both were completed around the same time. The JS-47A carries several weapons, a total of 24 missiles split between the PARS-1M, MARS-5D, and R-76M Systems.

The Prighozhnyya Design Bureau has been developing a pair of aircraft. One designed for stealth and long range combat - the Sniper, and one designed for maneuverability and close range combat - the Dagger.
The Dagger, (Pr.AC13-2), didn't start development until 2014, as Prigozgnyya prioritized the Sniper project. However, the Dagger didn't have near as many issues and the production model has very little variation from the prototype

Extended History

The JS-47A Dagger was passed to the 17th ADTW only a few days after they sent off the JS-60A Sniper. They spent their first week tearing it down, noting its surprising simplicity, and put it back together, making minor tweaks occasionally.

The most major thing they had to tweak, however, was the absence of an AOA limiter, as the JS-47A produced a heavy amount of lift that became nearly uncontrollable at high speeds. The pilot barely managed to land the aircraft, and the engineers began putting the system in that night. The next day, pilots of the 17th ADTW took off with it and noted the new stability. Only a few days later, they finalized their modifications and sent it back to Prigozhnyya, who put it on the backburner for a week before getting to it, finalizing the JS-47A 2 months later, after adding systems for the newly finished MARS-5D Missile.
