JLX-Micro (light aircraft)

1,716 Davjlee  4.5 years ago

The JLX-Micro is the first model by JLX for the homebuild line of aircraft, or "Kit Plane". Designed with rugged tires and frame, the "Micro" is easily flown from dirt or grass runways in addition to traditional paved runways. Featuring a fully interactive cockpit, this model has a working flight yoke, yaw pedals, throttle control level, trim wheel, and switch for a top mounted speedbrake / flap control. AG1 activates the Nav lighting, AG2 the strobe lights, AG3 operates panel / overhead lights, and AG4 operates additional accent lighting. AG8 controls the engine which is on by default. Landing can be tricky and should be done as slowly as possible with the brake / flap aiding in easier and short landings. Each control input is realized with a moving counterpart within the cockpit. Definitely a fun build and inspiration towards new builds.
