While treaties ratified and signed by the Pilotmario Republic and the League of Olympia certify that medical personnel are not to be deliberately attacked, the nature of modern warfare on the front lines means that casualty evacuation must be done in armored vehicles; stray bullets, cluster munitions, and artillery fragments do not abide by these rules. As a result, the Pilotmario Army developed the Savior Combat Ambulance. Unlike conventional APCs previously used in this role, the Savior has stretcher accomodations, and can sit up to 10 wounded on stretchers, two medics, and the standard crew of two: commander and driver. It also has a medical equipment and supplies, and is capable of conducting minor surgeries in the field on its own. The rear of the vehicle has been enlarged and a rear door installed, which pivots up in order to provide additional protection from airburst munitions. The side hatches have also been enlarged, and a conspicuous red cross painted on the sides, rear door, and top for identificaiton purposes. The armor scheme is virtually unchanged from the Stallion Armored Fighting Vehicle. As per treaty, the vehicle is unarmed, though two submachine guns are carried inside for personal defense.
