Sarnnox B-205-2 Heavy Bomber

Fictional Story

On July 26, 1918, Generalissimo of the Jacomian People’s Republic; Fredrick Conley, watched the first test flight of the Sarnnox B-205. Impressed with what he saw, Conley and his government immediately ordered the B-205 into mass production and entered service in the Jacomian Air Force as a heavy bomber. These heavy but fast aircraft, we're truly ahead of their time, being able to carry bomb loads up to 8,000lbs and capable of reaching speeds up to 160mph. Because the B-205 was too late to serve during WWI, they instead saw combat elsewhere such as the Spanish civil war (1936-1939) with the Second Spanish Republic and the USSR. They proved effective, especially when escorted by Sarnnox GE-26, GE-24 and B-232 fighters. The Sarnnox B-205 Heavy Bomber was soon replaced by more modern mono plane types like the B-304 "Silver Chariot" after becoming obsolete in late 1937. Later versions of the B-205 included closed pressurized cockpits, retractable landing gear and were fitted with more powerful engines. During its service, more than nine hundred B-205 Bombers were produced between late 1919 to 1938.
