AC-M33 Shadowblader

12.6k HNL47  4.3 years ago

**WARNING**:unrealistic flight performance

The Shadowblader (AC-M33)is a multirole/recon fighter designed for THE HOLY KINGDOM OF SAINT SIEGFRIED since they are requesting a new fighter. The AC-M33 was a collab project between 4 differnets companies which are NOVATECH AEROSPACE, SOUTH STAR INDUSTRIES, EPSILON CORP and LAWSON DYNAMICS which is the main contractor.11 differents prototypes will be tested before the final version will be released. The AC-M33 is the first that succesfully hit mach 2 without the afterburner thanks to the twin SSI-PP450 providing 47000lbfeach at max throttle made by SOUTH STAR INDUSTRIES which also allow to hit the speed of max 2.5. The unrealistic design was really criticized because of his flat bottom and external weapons making the jet not really stealth but the stealth technology used here is different from the usually used on common 5th gen fighter. The skin of the plane is electrically charged by the heat during flight which create a glowing plasma. This glowing plasma absorb radar frequencies making radar useless at high speed which mean that the faster the pilot goes the stealthier the plane is but at low speed or not even moving the plane is perfectly radar-observable. Lawson dynamics decide to classified the files about skin technology of the aircraft. And it's not all the new fly-by-wire system designed by NOVATECH AEROSPACE offer a really great stability despite the position of the com and the col compared to other fighters. About weapons, EPSILON CORP had designed special weapons exclusively for this jet as the CG-30 Supervulture making the AC-M33 a lethal dogfighter despite it was not designed for this purpose, the Antares missile pod with 8 missiles each, new electronic warfare systems and directed energy countermeasures.

    In FranzPeterSiegfried's FPS Challenge, perhaps?

The heat depends on the viscosity of the air as friction occurs on its surface. So at lower altitudes it could generate a significant amount of heat but I doubt it would be enough to create a plasma sheath.
    —————
Also... if a plasma sheath could even be created it wouldn’t absorb radar. The plasma sheath acts as a barrier to reflect waves coming in and out of the aircraft.

The conversion to a carrier-based aircraft was successful! I'd like to purchase 140 more aircraft, bringing the total to 280 airframes.

Just incredible. It looks great and flies great too. It really looks like a possible futuristic fighter as well

Actually the heat is pretty intense at Mach 2.5, so with the "special skin" I reckon that a plasma shield would be just about feasible.

    An interesting design

    Just saying...
    ————
You’d have to be going much faster than Mach 2.5 to create a plasma sheath over your aircraft.
    ————
The plasma sheath also isn’t really stealth. It just blocks communication and radio waves from entering through it or leaving it. The signals are instead reflected rather than absorbed.
    ————
You’re also generating a lot of heat that can be seen on infrared sensors.
    ————
It is an interesting concept tho

Thank you. If I find it possible to modify it for carrier use then I may order more.
