Overview
The SLAAM-1 Osiris (SLAAM stands for Surface-Launched-Anti-Air-Missile) is a ground-based SAM system designed to deal with any kind of air threat. Using a TASER radar or an A-20 Radad radar system, it can detect and track any aerial objects within range and guide the Osiris missile. It will be ready later in the current Spring of 1949, KE-RP timeline.
Instructions
AG1 — Activate rotation and elevation of the launcher
Activate AG1, then lock onto the chosen target, and fire away!
Use away from mountains
— the missiles will hit nearby mountains occasionally if they are close to the launcher.

@ShinyGemsBro next step: put it on the back of a milk truck
hmmm yes guided katyusha
@RB107 you’re welcome! The GB-11 Kite will deal with these threats with four of our Fox 1 missiles.
@B1BLancer Ah alright, i will keep my aa guns then, thank you for the advice!
@B1BLancer Oh sweet
@TheUltimatePlaneLover @TheUltimatePlaneLover 25 launchers, it costs 1 million for each one
@B1BLancer Oh
How many can I get for 25m then?
@TheUltimatePlaneLover there is no bidding, just placing purchases
@RB107 great! Know that these SAM systems are most effective when the target is large and higher altitude, these are not very good at attacking low-altitude air threats. Low altitude as in under 200 feet, so I recommend still using regular AA artillery for extremely low altitude aircraft. But these missiles can still attack anything above 200 feet
@Teslaiscute113 @RB107 @B1BLancer
I bid 25 million.
@B1BLancer Yippe! I going to put it on coastline to defend againts aerial threats
@RB107 order granted! 1000 units sent to No-See Jerry!
@SPWithLizzie it doesn’t matter much, it is still pretty slow and has a powerful liquid-propellant engine.
I want to buy some! 1000 units for coastal and city defenses! And i will upgrade it on my own =D
I bid 4 million :3
@B1BLancer
Yes, but you set the max speed to 5000, which is a lot higher than the max speed of the guardian, as the max speed for missiles are in meters/second (I think)
@SPWithLizzie I know, it is the first SAM I made and it is supposed to be slower than usual. That’s also why the course correction value isn’t the highest

5000 forward thrust force isnt't that much, that's a third of the Guardian's actual forward thrust force
@SPWithLizzie ok good
@B1BLancer
No, I'm good at XML modding things on my own
@SuperSuperTheSylph fr, I love that I somehow found a way to call it the SLAAM!
Maverick watch out!
What is i—

Top Gun Maverick ahh SAM

@SPWithLizzie the Osiris guided SAM is launched from the SLAAM-1 or SLAAM-2 launchers. It is guided by a Spin-produced TASER system. (Tracking-Array-Searching-Electronic-Radar) or it can be guided by the RNJ A-20 Radad mobile radar system. Do you need help making the launcher? XML modding the missile? Because I do that with mine. I XML modded the Osiris to lock onto anything 180º around it instead of like 30º on the normal SimplePlanes “Guardian” missile. I can change the speed, maneuverability, etc.
@B1BLancer
Thanks
Though we do need some info on the SAM's guiding, as the one we've made is kinda odd.
Our SAMs, the Aireal Defender, are a direct link to the RS-70, and while yes, they have their own radar, it can't lock on by itself, it needs the RS-70's to acquire lock first, then it can track
