Auto Credit Based on SajabAerospace's Pilatus PC-21
This is my latest aircraft design. The BumbleBee is a jet powered light attack aircraft. The design of this aircraft contains elements of the Aero Vodochody L-39 Albatros.
The aircraft can fly at speeds over 400 mph. 380mph can be sustained at low level.
The aircraft is fitted with a variety of weapons:
AIR-GROUND
- 3 Boom 25s
- 2 rocket pods, plus two extra unguided rockets.
- 2 Inferno guided missiles
AIR-AIR
- 2 Guardian Missiles
GUNS
- 2 fuselage mounted wing guns
OTHER
- 4 countermeasure dispensers
The aircraft is also fitted with flaps, which are operated by the VTOL slider.
The stable flying characteristics of this aircraft also make it suitable for training purposes.

@SajabAerospace good point, I totally forgot the whole "fighter" aspect of the challenge, and you should change the weapons and make a version!
@ThePilotDude I didn't design this as an entry for any challenge. Indeed, I only discovered mikoyanster's challenge a couple of days ago, just before I uploaded the aircraft.
Also, it's not a light fighter, it's a light attack aircraft. There's a difference. It hasn't been designed for air to air engagements, although it does possess two Guardian AAMs for defensive purposes. I could create a fighter variant though. I would just need to change the weapons.
Is this for mikoyanster's light fighter challenge? Because it looks like it would do very well!
