Thank you for finding my old work! Are you trying to make a swashplate?
It’s been about eight years since I built this, so I’ve forgotten most of the details.
Other creators have made helicopters with a similar structure, and there are many videos on YouTube explaining swashplates, so please check those out for reference.

One tip for building — if you make it too small, the parts will easily stick together and stop moving. Try to keep a bit of extra size to ensure smooth motion.

As for aerodynamics, helicopters are especially complex. When a helicopter moves forward, the lift becomes unequal between the left and right sides, because the blade on the right side is advancing while the one on the left is retreating. Also, the cyclic motion doesn’t always match the tilt of the airflow — you’ll need to understand something called the phase lead angle.

I think this is one of the most inspirational builds I’ve come across, this is so good! I’m trying to build a rotor with rotators and overload funky trees, any tips on how I can make a rotor like this, like a source of knowledge? Right now I’m struggling with the pitch, roll and having unequal lift on different sides of my chopper.

This is amazing, awesome details. My first upload was Airwolf, I got a couple versions, mobile friendly. They are no way as detailed like this. Blue thunder is my second favorite helicopter, I think this is the best blue thunder I have seen on SP.
