WIKI

The MH-6 Little Bird (or AH-6) is an attack and transport helicopter used primarily in special operations by the United States Army. Originally based on a modified version of the OH-6A, it was later based on the MD 500E version, with a five-bladed rotor. The most modern version, the MH-6M, is based on the MD 530F and has a six-bladed main rotor. Its first overseas mission was during the Iran Hostage Crisis, but it never saw combat. However, it played a significant role in the invasions of Grenada (1983) and Panama (1989), the Battle of Mogadishu (1993), and Operation Iraqi Freedom.
