Morris County is located on the fringe of the agriculture-rich Jessamine Valley and the mountain range that populates the state of Concord's eastern region. Morris County Fire Rescue operates two hybrid ambulance-pumpers, custom built by Braun Industries which serve as an ALS ambulance, rescue vehicle, and fire truck. This crossover vehicle has a Cummins power plant with an Allison transmission. It carries a Waterous CAFSystem (Compressed air foam system) for initial fire attack, and has a Patriot patient module with dump system (functions not modeled). It also carries rescue equipment including hydraulic cutters and other extraction tools.

Due to the long response distances and small numbers of personnel in the agency, MCFR selected this rig to reduce fleet size and costs for the county. Tailored to the specific needs of Morris county, this versatile response vehicle is able to respond to almost every call. It can be seen responding to and transporting patients, arriving first for structure fires and attacking until tankers and other engines can arrive, and immediately starting rescue when arriving at vehicle accidents. However, responding to nearly 95% of all fire and EMS calls leads to excessive wear on the vehicle and rapid crew fatigue relative to more specialized units. Additionally, it suffers from lack of storage capacity for all the missions it is meant to fulfill, and also lacks specialization as it is meant to cover all missions instead of being a dedicated ambulance, fire engine, or rescue vehicle.
