Description

Then Leopard 2 is a third generation main battle tank developed by Krauss-Maffei of Germany, it was designed in the 1970s for the Bundeswehr. There are two main development batches of the tank: the original models up to Leopard 2A4, which have vertically faced turret armour, and the improved batch, namely the Leopard 2A5 and newer versions, which have angled arrow-shaped turret appliqué armour together with other improvements. The 2A4 is the most widespread variant of the Leopard 2 family, it includes an automated fire and explosion suppression system, an all-digital fire control system able to handle new ammunition types, and an improved turret with flat titanium/tungsten armour. The Leopard 2s were manufactured in eight batches between 1985 and 1992. Indonesia sought and obtained approval for the purchase of 103 refurbished Leopard 2A4 tanks from Bundeswehr surplus stocks in 2011, receiving the first two in September 2013, with deliveries completing in 2016 along with the arrival of the Leopard 2RI. The Leopard 2 remains as Indonesian army's main battle tank and is still serving to this day.

In this SimplePlanes version, well this is basically the 2RI but without the additional armor, it may be a bit more agile now though.

Throttle + Yaw : tank movement
Pitch + Roll : turret controls (there's also camera aim and VTOL + Trim, but that's mostly for transporting purposes)
AG1 : activate turret
AG2 : reverse
AG3 : turn on thermal sight
AG4 : open hatches
AG6 : turn on lights (brakes and blinker)
AG7 : turn on headlights
