Second version to correct an error. Rotator serving as air vents rotating with collective.
Thanks to ALRX for pointing this out.

The Mil Mi-6, (NATO code Hook) is a Soviet-made heavy transport helicopter whose prototype made its first flight in 1957.
Almost 42 m long, it remained for more than 10 years not only the largest helicopter in the world but also the first Soviet turbine helicopter.
A number of records were broken during the flight tests such as carrying a payload of 20,117 kg, a mass greater than the mass
empty of the largest non-Soviet helicopter of that time, the Sikorsky CH-54 Skycrane.
It is distinguished in particular by its external tanks and side fins which contribute 20% to the total lift (in cruising flight).
In addition, it has, like many Mil helicopters, a main rotor with 5 blades.
As a military transport helicopter, the Mi-6 can carry up to 70 equipped soldiers. Access is through the rear cabin door.
The Mi-6 can also carry bulky or palletized military loads. In civilian version, the Mi-6 can carry up to
120 passengers (65 in version with airliner type seats). The indicated internal payload is 12 tonnes. As a flying hospital version, the Mi-6 can
carry up to 41 stretchers and two paramedics. A sling hook located under the fuselage can lift a load of 9 tons.

The different versions:

Mi-6: Transport
Mi-6A: Transport
Mi-6P: VIP transport
Mi-6PS: Search and rescue
Mi-6PZ: Firefighting
Mi-6S: Medical evacuation, equipped with 41 stretchers

Mi-6VKP (Hook-B): Command post
Mi-6VUS / Mi-22 (Hook-C): Modernized command post
Mi-6YaSh (Hook-D): Equipped with side radar

I present to you the first prototype, the Mil Mi6 V6. First first flight on June 5, 1957.
