E-7 QuantumEye AWACS

28.1k KerlonceauxIndustries  5.1 years ago

Brief Description:
The E-7 QuantumEye is an AWACS developed by Kerlonceaux Industries starting in 2024, although research on the quantum radar began late in 2021. The first prototype was built in March of 2026, and the aircraft first went into service in December of 2029, although the first truly operational quantum radar-equipped aircraft was built in late 2038. The QuantumEye is a unique AWACS in that it is equipped with an advanced, state-of-the-art quantum radar system, which takes advantage of quantum mechanics to have the capability of detecting even the stealthiest of stealth aircraft. The E-7 can relay this data to fighters to vector them onto the position of an enemy stealth aircraft, and, using this data, guide a missile into the enemy. The upcoming AIM-170 AMRAAM will be designed specifically for aircraft capable of interfacing with the E-7 QuantumEye.

The E-7Q will be equipped with a quantum radar.
