The P-50 Mako is the result of major airframe changes and engine changes to the P-30 Stallion. The airframe has been strengthened and shortened slightly. The 1000HP engine in the Stallion has been replaced with a 1200HP engine driving contra-rotating props. the four .50cal machine guns in the wings have been replaced with four 20MM cannons. pilot visabality has also been improved by having a bubble canopy replace the old cockpit layout.
