X-308 / Norman model N308
Prospective Anti-shipping aircraft

Norman has come up with a new policy regarding piracy and illegal fishing: Kill. The madlads over at Norman are trying to sell the Coasties a tactical fighter aircraft for whatever reasons. The aircraft has a few problems because it was designed by a team of (possibly drunk) aerospace engineering students. Essentially, take everything you don’t want in an anti-shipping platform, mix it together with a pinch of monkey on typewriter, and you get the Norman N308:

-Does it have a powerful long range search and targeting radar? Nah.
-Does it have extended range and loiter time? Nope.
-Is it at least carrier capable? Nople dople.
-Are there multiple stations to manage workload? Don’t need ‘em.
-Can it fly after launching only one ASM? No.
-Can it network or data manage for over-the-horizon engagements in a modern setting? Nope.
-Can it fulfill any reconnaissance needs? Not at all.
-Is it better than the F-16 as an anti-shipping platform? Well… yes…

Armament:
x2 Stock Cleavers
x32 flares, x2 dispensed per launch
x1 Plane loaded with fuel and other flammable or potentially explosive things

(Note: when a single missile is launched, the center of gravity/weight will shift and thus the aircraft will depart from controlled flight. Launch both missiles at the same time to avoid becoming a dropped piece of paper. It’s not a problem, it’s a design feature.)
(Also the missiles go slow enough so that you can intercept them mid-air with your plane before they hit their target.)
