History

The Dia-23 Metel is a fighter aircraft of Karelia Republic of World War II. Designed to counter the German Messerschmitt Bf 109 by Vladimir Dmitrienko.

Engine

Powered by a 1,000 hp Diaz Aviation H-305 Luna. This engine was a development of the Luna Mk.1 developed by engineer Alexander Zemtsov in 1937 on the basis of the Hisano Suiza 12y.
