"Thunder"
Gaijin when add Thunder to War Thunder
Behold a bomber
Yes, FSF is doing bombers too, I've established this already...
Except this one is actually a bomber. The last one was a heavy attacker. The B-11 is fairly maneuverable for the fact that it's a bomber, which I guess isn't too special on account of the B-11 being a medium bomber. But here's the twist- it's only medium in size. When it comes to payload, this thing can carry a terrifying payload of 15,000 pounds of bombs, which is only a ton less than that of the B-17. One downside is that they're all carried externally, as despite being closer to a bomber than the A-19, the Thunder lacks a bomb-bay. Regardless, the payload is amazing. The B-11 lacks offensive guns, but it has a single turret armed with four 20mm autocannons that should shred apart just about anyone daring enough to approach you. It is camera controlled, but not to worry: Activation Group 1 turns on a gyroscope, allowing the B-11 to retain steady flight so you can focus on aiming. The B-11 is also quite fast though, so in many cases you probably won't need the gunner, as you can just run away instead. There are really only a few planes of within the given generation/era (1945-1953) that'll be able to catch you, like the FB-1F, FB-7A, RE-4, and maybe the Narhwal. Even better though, the B-11 is the single most armored aircraft in FSF so far. Granted, high-caliber weapons will still devastate the bomber, as they would any aircraft, but regardless you can still take a fair beating before the bomber goes down. Use it wisely and you'll pretty much ruin enemy ground targets.
Trivia
-The B-11B was one of the aircraft which I designed prior on some sort of blueprint (paper to be specific) then implemented ingame. However, the design did change a bit: The original design had the intakes under the wing section rather than built into it, one engine on the back instead of two engines directly mounted to the intakes, a bomb-bay, and no defensive gunner. The changes didn't end with the blueprint-to-game transfer, though. When I was building the aircraft, I made the choice to change the engine position, which allowed the tail to be unoccupied. I had planned to put a tail gunner there as well as a second underbelly turret, but this idea was scrapped before it could even begin work. Sort of- the weird slope on the tail fuselage is where the tail gunner would've been.
-The B-11's blue-n-gold tail paint represents bombers of the 215th Raider Squadron, which means this particular livery is that of a B-11B that would've served alongside the Warhead Mk.Ib (or more accurately the other way around, since the Warheads came later in 1953 as opposed to the B-11B's 1950 introduction date).
-The B-11B not only has the heaviest armor out of any FSF plane, but also the heaviest payload of >15,000 pounds. It is simultaneously just the heaviest FSF plane in terms of gross weight.
-Aite, when did I first put this into my unlisted... December 17? 2024?!

@TheUltimatePlaneLover it looks great! The turret is a nice touch
@TheUltimatePlaneLover it looks really nice, like if I was an enemy, I would high tail it outta there, this looks like a harrier.
@BOSSentinel Compared to other FSF jets, this is the closest thing we got to a bomber :v
