The H-6 bomber is a medium-sized twin-jet tactical/strategic bomber developed and produced by China Xi'an Aircraft Industry Group on the basis of the Soviet Tupolev Tu-16 bomber introduced from the Soviet Union in the 1950s. It is one of the longest-serving aircraft types of the Chinese People's Liberation Army Air Force and the only active long-range bomber in China. Mainly responsible for bombing, reconnaissance, anti-ship, patrol and surveillance and other tasks.
