Simple Trainer T-45

Description

The McDonnell Douglas (now Boeing) T-45 Goshawk is a highly modified version of the British BAE Systems Hawk land-based training jet aircraft. Manufactured by McDonnell Douglas (now Boeing) and British Aerospace (now BAE Systems), the T-45 is used by the United States Navy as an aircraft carrier-capable trainer.

As a replica of the T-45 trainer aircraft, this project is as simple as its name suggests. I wrote a very comfortable (at least in my opinion) FBW control system for it, coupled with a user-friendly navigation and autopilot system, which allows this aircraft to provide an exceptional flight experience with fewer than 200 parts and extremely simple operation.

Instructions

This aircraft has both activation group and cockpit equipment control.

Basic control.

AG1 for lights(Formation, nav , strobe)
AG2 to drop auxiliary tank.
AG3 for carrier landing hook.
AG4 for wing folding.
AG5 for On Speed Thrust mode
AG8 for power and control.
VTOL up: Slats only.
VTOL down: Slats and Flaps.
Trim:Stablizer.
On Speed Mode: This means that from 109 knots to 535 knots, each position on the throttle corresponds to a speed, essentially a convenient automatic throttle mode that helps you maintain speed during descent.

Advance Controls

The navigation panel is located in the lower right corner of the dashboard. Once the power is on, the display should show the currently selected target, its direction and distance, and the runway's altitude and orientation (if the selected target is an airport). The navigation system in this game includes all islands and airports from SP1 except for krakens and pirate ships; simply press the "NXT" (Next) and "PRE" (Previous) keys to select a target from the list.

The compass is connected to the navigation system. The blue and yellow pointers on the compass represent the direction the target runway points and the target direction, respectively. This can guide you to find your way.

The autopilot panel is located on the right. The two large knobs below the autopilot panel control the main power (Activate8) and the overall autopilot switch. The three knobs on the autopilot panel adjust autopilot data, while the three buttons below adjust precision.

The two large buttons on the navigation panel allow pilots to input the current flight status and navigation target into the autopilot system with a single click, greatly reducing their workload.
Once the autopilot is engaged, the aircraft will fly automatically towards the pre-set target, but it does not have automatic obstacle avoidance capabilities during this process. Therefore, before setting up autopilot, please ensure that your altitude is sufficient to avoid terrain.

It does not have automatic obstacle avoidance capabilities during this process!

Acknowledgements

I would like to express my sincere gratitude to SARACONIKaviationIndustry and Kendjello for their invaluable assistance. My HUD is from dhtv587; I only added some features and changed the units to knots and feet. Thanks also to Hitingxt for taking the photos for cover.

Please give me an upvote if you like it.

Have Fun:)
