A Trainer aircraft, designed off of a purchased M2K by the USSE to be as cost efficient as possible. Being quite possibly one of the cheapest military jet aircraft still capable of aerial combat, the T-II was meant for new aviators to "Prove Themselves" before being admitted into the ESADF (Exeron State Air Defense Force). Pilots were given a job: with only analog instruments, they must complete a combat operation that includes destroying 2 ground targets and 2 air targets. The reason for this was due to the possibility of a total electronic failure, with the T-II only containing the gauges the regular aircraft contain. The only electronic instruments they have access to is their helmet and targeting pod, as these cannot fail due to the aircrafts electronics failing.
The missiles that are carried are a variant of one of the earliest missiles Exeron ever used, with an inert warhead but maneuverability and range similar to the XAIM-3. The AGM-1 however is commonly used on aircraft specifically for strike operations, as an option during an electronic failure so the pilot may fulfill their mission. Exeron has a large stockpile of these training aircraft, so much so that the ESADF has ordered they be modified to have the ability to carry regular armaments in an emergency, and that they will be able to be sent up by the instructive squadrons to supplement the ESADF and ESSAS (Exeron State Special Air Service) if need be.
Activation Groups:
AG-1: Cockpit
AG-7: Eject
Note: There are 3 stages in an ESADF Pilot's training, the first is with an instructor on the T-I aircraft, during which they learn how to fly and eventually complete their first solo. The pilot then moves on to the T-II aircraft, which is when they learn how to operate weapons systems even in adverse situations, and once they complete their "Final Exam" they move on to their assigned aircraft, commonly the JS-40E, SF-27DV, or JS-31C, and receive their training for said platform
