This is Star Breacher, my exotic air racer for the 2018 Lunar Arc unlimited air race. Probably the most bizarre-looking airplane my brain has fathomed lol. I was originally going to submit a version of Brutality that is tweaked for this race, but that wouldn't hold up so I made Star Breacher. Spawned out of me trying to nudge the prop engines together at the center, and using 4 fuselage pieces as attachment points, but I noticed that looked pretty epic with the engines podded separately so I kept that look and developed from there.
Star Breacher turns ok, launches ok, but has a pretty high top speed (over 1,000 mph) but the AI can't fly it right. 😐
I was going to try to improve it more but I kept delaying work on it so I'm releasing it as is for the tournament. I guess it'll just look cool while missing almost all the rings 😂.
I did use XML modding, but all I did was disable collisions with the propellers to give it that cool prop effect, and according to the tournament validator this modification is ok.
Got eliminated in the 3rd bracket to Delta74's Tomanyvtol-7.2.1, congrats on the win!

Np, I always mention the competitor on my racer's post whether it was someone who beat me, or it's the 2nd and 3rd place racers (if I get 1st, happened last tournament).

Thanks, this one was just a half-effort entry into the race. Didn't really focus on this race. This design was too heavy and the AI flew it poorly. It was bound to get eliminated, surprised it lasted so long in the tournament.
