@MrVaultech But the construction of this dangerous ship cost France more resources than predicted, and the ship wasn't 100% ready on its first mission: intercept a huge Russian/North Korean fleet of thousands of escort battleships and massive freighters loaded with ammunition, fuel, ship parts, and other things France was in need of. The mission was a success, even the ship was barely armed and the regenerative shield generators where not yet capable of functioning properly.

@MrVaultech This one was built in secret and tested during several wars, and was mainly used against the massive Russian (which typically consisted of around 100-1000 battleships that were hard to destroy in huge numbers) fleets. Survivors told of a peaceful space which was suddenly filled with laser fire and "gigantic discs of ship-disabling plasma". France said it was some sort of alien attack to keep their warship secret.
