Plane number 2 it is!
I tried to go for a little bit of a simpler design to make it more authentic which ended up coming out quite well. The general characteristics (length, span, reference area, etc.) match the original as close as I could get them. The only thing that's very off is the weight (x2), which is also noticable in flight characteristics. It's not the best flyer and I had to add VTOL engines just to get it to take off but it flies (although it is quite underpowered) and should be reasonably nimble for a civil passenger aircraft.
Activation group 1 enables front wheel steering for taxiing.
PS. If anybody has any tips, especially on the cockpit, they would be much appreciated. After this complete rant I feel I should actually thank you for plowing through that and wish you farewell!
