Shahed 285

26.9k RadarJamJar  7.5 years ago

Aircraft manual: VTOL slider controls engine power set to at least ¾ all the way up for top speed,
throttle controls the collective(up/down),
Act. group 1 lights,
act. Group 2 + pitch and roll aims the machine gun.
1:1 scale replica of the Shahed 285 light attack/reconnaissance helicopter currently being developed by Iran for its military, it is based on the shahed 278 which is it self derived from the Bell 206 jet ranger. It is unusual for an military heli. having a single crewman and being very small and light(weight not to scale), which is the reason I was drawn to build a replica of it.

@Supercraft888 thank you for the compliment, first of all what did you mean by "Cale" if it's scale I use the FINE TUNER mod another useful mod is OVERLOAD.

Think of the swash plate as a pointer of where you want to go, and the angle of attack of the rotator as a way of going up or down. Increased angle of attack for more power (not really power)

I know how to make them, it's just to the Cale at which you do it, the swash plate is almost exactly like a real one!

Hello, where do I start? there are small vtol nozzles at the end of the rotor blades the blades are made of wings and there are rotators at there roots that rotate them up a little when you throttle up. pitch and roll control is achieved by a mechanism called a swash plate that part is really hard to build. does any of that help? @JSwannyGaming148
