The Lamborghini Murcielago R-GT is a track focused version of the standard Murcielago. It was developed and unveiled in collaboration with Reiter Motorsport and Audi Engineering in 2003. The car, due to FIA regulations, mantains the standard V12 engine from the base model, but with limitators to manage it. The R-GT won the Zhuhai 2 hours in 2007, it also entered the 2008 24 hours of Le Mans but wasn't classified, and, in the same year, it entered the 24 hours of Spa and finished 8th overall and 5th in the GT1 class. In 2010 the R-GT was replaced by the R-SV, the track focused variant of the Murcielago SV.
