----------ULTRA DETAILED REPLICA WITH SEMI-WORKING COCKPIT!---------------
PLEASE IF YOU LIKE IT LEAVE AN UPVOTE DOWN BELOW TO HELP ME WITH MY WORK!
Hi guys! This is my F/A-18E Super Hornet, the legendary US Navy Multirole fighter. I tried to make it more detailed than maneuverable, but this seems pretty nice to me! This version is fully functional, with folding wings, custom speed brake and more! If the plane doesn't roll well when you pitch, try to put some weight on the nose, it's a bug that can occur.

Instructions:
AG4 + VTOL full down to unfold wings, press AG4 again to fix them in the right position.
AG2 + VTOL down for Flaps.
AG3 + VTOL full down for Tail hook.
For takeoff throttle at 100%, pitch up at 350mph. Keep throttle at 100% for supersonic flight, or put it back to 70% for an attack session.
For Carrier Landing, approach at 300mph, at 1Km from the ship, put flaps half down, and put tailhook full down. When you're closer adjust your position and land at 250mph, brake during the whole process.
AG1 to drop fuel tanks (they contain a lot of fuel, so drop only if you need more agility!)
This planes comes armed with 6 Inferno Air to ground missiles, perfect to sink those ugly ships, 2 Guardian and 2 Interceptors, but you can put whatever you want under the pylons!

Notes:
Don't put VTOL up, it will cause some issues.. just don't lol

A bit of Trivia:
The Boeing F/A-18E Super Hornet and related twin-seat F/A-18F are twin-engine carrier-capable multirole fighter aircraft variants based on the McDonnell Douglas F/A-18 Hornet. The F/A-18E single-seat and F/A-18F tandem-seat variants are larger and more advanced derivatives of the F/A-18C and D Hornet. The Super Hornet has an internal 20 mm M61 rotary cannon and can carry air-to-air missiles and air-to-surface weapons. Additional fuel can be carried in up to five external fuel tanks and the aircraft can be configured as an airborne tanker by adding an external air refueling system.

Designed and initially produced by McDonnell Douglas, the Super Hornet first flew in 1995. Full-rate production began in September 1997, after the merger of McDonnell Douglas and Boeing the previous month. The Super Hornet entered service with the United States Navy in 1999, replacing the Grumman F-14 Tomcat, which was retired in 2006; the Super Hornet serves alongside the original Hornet. The Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF), which has operated the F/A-18A as its main fighter since 1984, ordered the F/A-18F in 2007 to replace its aging F-111 fleet. RAAF Super Hornets entered service in December 2010.

Awsome aircraft! I love flying it! I guess the only problem I saw was the arresting hook didn’t work for me and I was going about 260 to 280 knots. I was probably doing something wrong so nothing wrong with the aircraft, just me. 10/10.

Awesome! try adding a Blue Angels livery to it if possible. Also try making a "landing camera" to make the "landing path" easier to see for carrier stuff.

Could you add the second seat in?

@503rdAirborneSoldier I have to correct you: the F-18 Hornet was made by McDonnell Douglas aircraft, but the newer F/A-18F/E Super Hornet is built by Boeing Manufacturer :)

@Spazer I created it, with small fuselage parts. If you look closer you'll see that each decoration piece is made out of fuselage blocks

@LeWhaleShark You're welcome! I appreciate it so much! This is what makes me proud to make models. I don't do this for downloads or upvotes, but to make happy people who enjoy my planes! Personally I've never seen a honest comment like this one here on SimplePlanes, so thank you! You've just made my day better!

Well, I just took this thing for a spin,and... I was absolutely right about what I said earlier! This thing is epic! It was a bit rough on the flying, and I found it nearly impossible to pull of an aircraft carrier landing (Though the fact the you would include a tail hook for that was really cool) but I understand that with all the detailed parts, functionality would not come as easy. All those amazing special features plus the realistic cockpit made this the ultimate piloting experience! I enjoyed this so much. Thank you.

I haven't even flown this thing yet, but judging by your description, this will be the most detailed modern jet model ever! Upvotes all around!
