Replaced. New version -> here.

Aircraft Information:
Designed by D.A.I. Inc. as a trainer that can also fulfill both fighter and attack roles, the DF/A-T-1, commonly referred to as the "Viper" by its pilots, served in numerous air forces since the late 1970's in both 1-seater and 2-seater configurations, and many still operate to this day. When not used for training, it mainly serves as an attack aircraft. Its long flight range, all-terrain and all-weather operation capabilty in addition to its versatility have led to overwhelming demand, causing D.A.I. Inc. to put the production of many sporting aircraft on hold, in order to dedicate more resources to manufacturing the Viper. As of 2018, over 3000 units have been built worldwide, 200 of which are operated by D.A.I. Inc. for research and experimentation purposes. This particular plane is one of them.

Builder's notes:
I am not the best builder out there - I build just for fun (and also due to shortage of spare time to dedicate to plane-building), thus I am not expecting to win this challenge in any way (I mean, look at my Spawn Challenge entry). This aircraft has no flaps - yes, you heard me right. It doesn't. Pitch trim is available, though. Its XML files weren't modded in any way either, aside from adding the URL of the challenge for it to appear as a successor.

If the already existing entries aren't enough to completely eclipse mine, I'm sure upcoming ones eventually will, and I'm completely fine with that, there are lots of builders out there that absolutely blow me away.

But I very much enjoyed putting this thing together and had fun testing it, and I'm satisfied and participating anyway. Hope you enjoy flying it as much as I did.

Good luck to all participants, experienced or not! May the best plane win.
