“A lost legend.”
The Ford Crown Victoria was one of the most popular taxis in New York City at the time. On almost every street you’d find one of these, not to mention the countless online media that featured the Crown Victoria. The TLC particularly favored the Crown Victoria for its large trunk capacity and reliability. However, as time passed, newer vehicles were being produced, and soon the TLC found the Crown Victorias to be outdated. Because of this, the TLC slowly started to retire them, to the point that there were practically no Crown Victorias left. At the time of writing this, only two Crown Victorias are actively in service within New York City, a fraction of what was.
The Ford Crown Victoria is a public transport sedan used by the Taxi and Limousine Commission.
Credit to dussts for the vehicle model.

@LunarEclipseSP I knew that. Admittedly, I've never played GTA IV, but still. It's a pop culture reference that most gamers should know.
