Upgrades from AntonWings’ B-17G:
-semi-accurate Sperry ball turret and ball turret interior
-conversion from G version to F version
-addition of plexiglass nose mounted guns
-semi-accurate Sperry dorsal turret/Sperry targeting computer
-accurate bomb load
-accurate cockpit
-semi-accurate tail “stinger” gun section (I tried :( )
-accurate interior
-toilet
-Norden bombsight
-navigator map
-horrible radio
-guns now have traverse limits

I went for the long-range bomb load, with 2 fuel cells in the top of the bomb bay for extended range

I actually based this off of my upcoming EAA special, which is based off of AntonWings’ B-17G, so the intiriors are very similar. This is also a fairly unique job as I had to paint this back to drab all of green from the silver that was painted onto it over the drab olive green.

Issues:
-nose section isn’t as accurate as I would like, as im not sure if many 17Fs had the stardome
-intirior isn’t nearly as detailed/cramped as the B-25J I did 2 months ago (in the way of spars/ribs/whatever tf ya call them)
-holographic gunsights tweak out a lot
-tail stinger isn’t very accurate
-some guns go beyond their traverse limits
-waist gunners are not 2 abreast like they should be
-cockpit isn’t as accurate as I’d like
-cant jettison the ball turret like in Masters of the Air :(
