Making its debut in 2017, the Citröen C3 WRC is the replacement of the DS3 WRC that participated the past seasons. This car is based on the Citröen C3 and it was driven in the 2017 World Rally Championship season by Craig Breen, Stephanie Lefebvre and Kris Meeke. The C3 WRC would end up placing 4th in the 2017 and 2018 season and get a 3rd place in 2019. The same year, Citröen announced their retirement from WRC, making this season the last where the C3 WRC ever raced.
